two hander needing ball
« on: February 14, 2010, 12:52:23 PM »
Ok. so im 17 and have been bowling three months. i like two handing it and dont wanna change. ive boosted my average from 120 to at least 195 every time. ok. so i throw a ebonite bash purple and green. and it has to be thrown from standing left foot left dot. at the back and cross third arrow to hit pocket. the shot i want is second arrow and alot of backend hook. i want the ball belmonte throws. 2nd arrow hard hook. any ideas on a ball? i use three fingers in my ball. 1st finger and the two normal ones. thanks Jake

Congrads on your new high scores and really glad you are enjoying the game.
After reading your post it sounds like you are really new so that means you have allot to learn.  You cant just purchase balls that will turn on a certain part of the lane if that shot isn't there.

This is coming from another non standard bowler...

Practice your form and learn what you can and cant do.  Start moving your feet to different location and seeing the reaction the ball gives..  If you think you need a stronger all why not change the cover stock of your ball.

Well - There is so much I could say on this subject but your best teacher will be you..  Good luck...
