How do you guys know when enough is enough? I never really wore out a bowling ball. Sadly, I fear my old Ebonite Wildcat will need to be put to sleep. I have had cracking around the fingers and the bridge is cracked. The cracks radiate to the pin on the ball. Last year I used super glue to fill the cracks, then resurfaced the ball. This worked well and I have used the ball into this season. The house condition that bowl on just sucks, and the Wildcat gives me the best look I've had. I love the reaction I get. I have kept the surface at 1200 polished, but when I went to clean it last night, I noticed a piece of the coverstock between the cracks is actually loose. Unless another dose of super glue can solidify the piece, it looks like I'm digging a hole. Heavy sigh...........
