Told myself I wanted a shot at it this year, and I got it, but I didn't get it, lol. Got to practice late, was drilling up a ball and lost track of time. Got there, threw two warmup shots (one with the new ball), but stayed with old faithful (X-Factor). Went 9/, 9 in a row. 11th shot found me a little track burn (plus I got a tad slow with it) and left a 4-7 for 276. Second game, front 5, horrible shot (stuck, hung up, you name it) for 8/, off the sheet for 278. Last game, all I needed was 246. Strike, another horrible shot (double dribbled it) for 6/, 3 in a row, flat 10 that I spared, strike, and the dagger was another 4-7 on the right lane. I was having trouble executing (although I was still striking), and figured out I was walking too slow. Threw a great ball, but it hooked early in the 8th. Two more strikes and 8/ for a 227 and 781. Struck every time on the left lane except for the 9/ in the first frame of the first game. All I needed was for one of those spares (aside from the one after the 11th ball of the 3rd game) in the second or third game to have been a strike, and it would have been 800.
