Hello everyone. I grew up bowling all through school and was very  competitive in youth bowling and even traveled around the southeast  bowling in a southern scratch league where I avg around 200 during most  of high school. After high school I stop bowling except for maybe once  or twice a year. I've missed the sport so I finally joined a Thursday  night bracket league a little over a month ago. Started off great  averaging 203 the first two weeks and then slowing started to fall off  now at 188. Even though I started off well I notice by ball reaction is  different from the past. I've really had to slow down and move more to a  straight up line on the 6 board to get the ball to carry. I believe the  problem is that I'm using my old equipment from the late 90's mainly a Storm  El Nino and Zone Pro Azure along with my plastic spare ball. They are  only two balls I have that get a decent reaction. Everything still fits  well but just don't have the ball reaction and carry I use to. I don't  like losing my money in the brackets and I really don't like losing in  general so I know its time to get some new equipment. I'm open for  suggestions but after reading reviews I'm really interested in the Roto Grip Critical Theory & Outlaw and also the Storm Marvel pearl, Victory Road Solid, and the Virtual Gravity Nano. The bowling center I go has AMF  synthetic lanes and use a 42 foot Xmas tree oil pattern every day. I  use to be able to setup in the middle or a little left and be able to  throw out to 2nd or 3rd arrow and have ball comeback so naturally I  would like to go back to that instead of having to throw more of a  stoker line.
