that we can't keep our bowling accomplishments to ourselves? Do most of us rate "our being" to how well we throw a bowling ball? Do we rate others by this puny measuring stick? (we could change this to baseball, football, or just about any sport or activity.)

   Don't get me wrong their are those who shine and have great ability but does that make a person someone to be emulated or give that person "god-like" status? Admire the person's ability is one thing but once we take those abilities and transfer it to the whole person then you got problems and have a "cult" mentality that will distort the truth. This can make a raving lunatic into a saint. Ask the Germans about Hitler. Most of the people who were my sports heroes growing up ended up disappointing me as I found out later. Enough rantings..... Have a great day bowling and enjoy it with those you bowl with.
