thumb swollen
« on: November 14, 2008, 03:30:20 PM »
I bowled about 8 games yesterday and my thumb seemed smaller than usual (I had to add a piece or two of tape) Today, my thumb is so big I can get it to fit into the hole even with all the tape removed. Is there any way around this? Why would my thumb swell up so much.
I use 1 piece of black tape in the back, 2-4 pieces of white tape in front.

wrap a dollar bill tightly around your thumb. then force it into your thumb hole. Usually does the trick. Don't know why, it just does lol

take your towel and do the same as the dollar bill it will hurt  but does the trick. Also you could be coming over the top or one of many other improper movements during release as already mentioned lastly weather will also affect your thumb. For instance cold day with lower humidity it will generally be smaller where as a hot humid day it will generally be a little larger atleast thats the way it seems for me..
