Just wondering if a rico drilling works for slower ball speed players. I throw it around 15 mph. and have a rev rate around 275, more of an up the back type roll. I was thinking of drilling a Mass Eruption or The Benchmark LE (blue one) for nationals. I have heard of some good success with ricoed drilled stuff at nats. I think it would allow me to stay right with everyone on the fresh with out giving away to much. Thanks for your thoughts.

The layout is over relevant if the covers and speed matches up to the condition and 15mph is not slow

The only time the layout becomes relevant is if the ball has a chance to slow down and slows down properly....the objection is having the bowling ball slow down in the 35-45' part of the lane or controlling the midlane...
If the bowling ball slows down properly then the layout had a chance to be effective...otherwise, it's irrelevant. Make sense?

I think I got it. Let me put another way and you tell me if I'm right.

If the ball has the right surface for the bowler's release/delivery and the oil amount + the lane surface, then the layout is relevant. Otherwise, it is irrelevant.
