I'm a left handed bowler who throws the ball pretty hard (18-19mph). What type of ball would work for me in medium oily conditions?? I currently have a old rubber ball and a Rhino that just don't provide the hook that I want -- I usually have to throw a more straight ball.

Cruiser12,
I suggested to a lefty friend of mine to try the Solid Ogre and he has been lights out with it so far. He did have to polish it some but has been spot on.

How many revs do you have, and do you know your PAP (or if you have a high or low track)? That would help for starters, too.

If you're throwing a rubber ball and an old Rhino which is probably urethane, almost any new "reactive" ball will hook way more than the balls you are currently throwing. Talk with your local proshop owner see what he might recommend.

I HIGHLY recommend a BVP Wizard.
It wont break the bank, a proven PowerKoil 18 sanded to 800 grit coverstock that is durable, early, and consistent.
Its great for coverstock adjustments, as they take easy and respond well.
A perfect low price ball for a higher speed player on medium conditions.

Good Luck, if you have any questions let me know
