I just received my first ring.  What is the proper etiquette in wearing a ring when bowling?

Do you wear them? Don't wear them bowling?  what do you do?

Honestly, wear them whenever you wish.  It's a great accomplishment and you should wear it proudly.

Personally, I try to not wear any while working.  It helps me avoid the inevitable, "you've got THAT many 300's and you're not a pro?" conversations that take place when someone notices them.  Please, don't take that the wrong way.  There's been plenty of changes to the game that have made honor scores seem a little less honorable.  They're still an achievement that the vast majority of people that take part in the sport will never accomplish.

I don't wear any of mine.  I'm not a big fan of jewerly and I don't really like the way they look.

I wear mine once a year.  Whatever the closest bowling time to the anniversary of when I shot my honor score is when I wear it.  I also throw the ball I used too

The only one I wear is my PBA 300 ring. Only once and a while never when I bowl.

when I got my first 300 I wore it all the time, then the novelty of wore off and I stopped wearing it. Now it just sits in its box on my dresser. I do wear it every once in awhile whenever I'm in a slump to help me break out of it. I'm a little superstitious that way.

Ill be honest. when i get the i will put them on a chain that attaches to my belt loop and wear then for good luck. But that's when i get them i got so many 279's 280's and such but oddly no 290's though, that i got to get passed before i start my collection.

I actually wear my 300 ring all the time.  My class ring from high school used to be a good conversation point whenever I met somebody new -- a lot of people would notice the ring and ask about it.  The same thing carries over with my 300 ring.  Not to mention I think it looks pretty good.  I have an 800 ring on the way that's the older ring style, and that looks better in my opinion than the newer style rings like I already have, so I'll wear that once I get it instead.

I think this is a good way to say it:  I'm proud of earning the ring by working for years and years on improving my game.  I'm not proud of the ring itself.

Don't wear it on your bowling hand while bowling. You Don't want it to fly off your finger when you make a shot and go bouncing down the lane.
