Anyone out there coming out to Reno for the National Mixed Championships?  If so, what weekend will you be bowling?

Mumzie, I may have 2 guys willing to bowl.  I can't find a 2nd woman, when are you available?  I'd love to bowl it again.  Last year my daughter, Nicanor, The Curse of Dusty, and I bowled it and had a great time.

I'll be arriving on Friday the 8th.

I'm currently scheduled for Trios on Saturday at 3:00 PM, Team on Saturday at 7:00 PM, and Doubles/Singles on Sunday at 11:00 AM.  I'll check Da Rules, but I think that Doubles/Singles can only be entered once.  However, there is no such limitation to Open Trios.

Yes, it is.  This time, we need to get there earlier, when the food lines aren't as long.

LOL You can say that again. Those lines were rediculous.

The rules are a bit confusing when it comes to doubles.  Mixed Doubles and Singles is limited to 1 time.  There is also the Festival of Bowling Events that allow unlimited re-entries.  A part of the Festival of Bowling is Open Doubles (any combination).  So if you and Mumzie have the time and want to, you should be able enter Open Doubles and not have problems with the Mixed competition.

As of now we are looking for Team Saturday at 7PM and Doubles and Singles at 11AM Sunday.

let me know about doubles. Right now we're planning on getting to town on the 7th (thurs), and goofing off for a day or two.
I'm game for the bowling any day, any time.

Legend has it that whenever "Ray Salas" enters a tournament, people fear for their bowling lives.  Women and children run scared, and men turn into ashes.  I heard he's going to be bowling that weekend.  Hope you don't draw him in too many brackets, Dusty (are there brackets in the Nat'l Mixed?)

As much as I'd like to meet up with Mr. Salas, unfortunately I'm already booked locally that weekend.  Might try to make another weekend if I can get away for it and find others who want to go as well.
