Title: roll out, i dont know how to explain it to my friend help

can someone explain roll out so I can explain it better to my friend.

AM not A CHICK OF BOWLING but I wanted to be in Manda's clique And why would I "saw" pins in half, THATS A WASTE OF PINS! I'd rather blow it over with my storm, and 21mph ball speed on dry shots.

Rolling out is when the ball burns up all its energy "rolling" through the heads and mid-lane so there is really nothing left when it makes the turn for the pocket.  I'm sure some of the lane heads will give a better answer than mine.
