Rolling Out

What does a ball look like when it rolls out? Does it just hook then rolls in a straight line to the pocket?

What I've seen of it, the ball starts rolling early, starts making it's move, then just flattens out -- usually never making it into the pocket.  It was my technique for 10 pins a long time ago....

This is true.  Basically it has used up all of it's energy and has none
left to complete the turn.

When I first got my Charcoal Executioner I notice that I could play
a down and in line, or a small hook, but when I went deep inside
the ball wasn't coming back.  I tried it at nationals and it worked fine.
I then realized that I might need to polish it.  I did and BOOM the ball
works like a champ.  

what was happening when I played the middle was that the ball was starting to make a midlane move, but didn't need to.

IF your ball is rolling out, you just need to hit it with some polish, or save
the ball for oily conditions.
