Ball Prices....

just out of curiosity to get a general consensus of what is the nation avg. price of balls...les say for example up here in nyc the avg price for a high-end ball like the vertigo for example go for about $200-$210 plus tax drilled depending on whichproshop you go to...now lets say for example you purchase the same ball somewhere else how much would they normally charge you for it...

Vertigo around my area would be $200-$210 drilled, depending on who I wish to use. If I buy a lot of bowling balls at the same time from my pro shop I'll usually get a 10% discount, which could bring the price down to %190 or $195.

here in PA, a newly released high end ball would be similar in price... around the $220 range plus tax (including drilling).  But since our most popular selling balls are mid-line equipment.. the high end stuff just sits there...  Once they have been there for a while...the price is reduced gradually.  We have an optyx spyder (originally marked $299... down to $139) and a purple matrix (not sure about original, but down to $70 now)...  just can't seem to move them...
