Sarge Easter question
« on: December 31, 2008, 07:37:26 AM »
so I have picked up a spot on a team but the league is at 10:30 at night! its the third shift and the lanes are burnt bad.  So i was wondering since I have so much problems what if I drill a real weak ball with a sarge easter grip.  Could that help enough to be worth it??

sarge is kinda hard to get use to i used if for 4 years it will help you stay behind the ball but its not something to have one of just for one league going back and forth between the spans will cause a akward feel

Why on earth would you drill a ball with a very different grip for just one condition?  You either need a special grip like a Sarge Easter, or you don't.  Don't make it harder than you have to.

i agree with strider plus you dont lose the revs with sarge easter my balls are actually moving more now than they ever has caus i used to be on the outside of the ball and no i am working the inside of the ball with this grip, the ball is reading the lane much earlier and making a much sharper move at backend so my suggestion is get the right piece for that toast shot.

I almost wonder if he's thinking the Sarge is something else rather than a grip change.  Just from reading the post, it seems maybe he is thinking of RICO or another fancy drill pattern and mistook the Sarge for it?

The ogre ss(pic in profile) may very well be the way to go. I just got mine drilled a couple of weeks ago. It gets easy length and hits and carries much better than I expected.
