My First Official 300
« on: April 23, 2012, 09:38:06 AM »

I've thrown two 300's during practice but never in an official setting. I was bowling the doubles part in the Missouri State Open and on my second game was when I finally did it. After the first seven I thought that I might have a chance. When I threw my 11th ball, my ball actually got hung up and we had to get the lane man to send it back. I think that really helped me. I was feeling nervous so waiting that time help me settle down. Also, we took over the lead in the state doubles with one more week to go. Would be nice if we could hang on and win it.

Congratulations! It is good to hear about an old fart throwing a 300, in a tournament no less.
