I just got word that Tony Reyes passed away. He was in a car accident. Anyone else hear this?

yes very sad news, he was one of my favorites. its unfortunate, but I guess god needed him at this time

I saw that the PBA website had a story on this. Too sad. Reyes was one of the good guys.

I always enjoyed watching him when he was on the telecast. Sad indeed.

I am very distraught by this. Tony was a very nice guy and a great bowler. my condolences -- R.I.P. Tony - you will be missed.

Very, very sad.
I drilled his equipment for many years and remember when his mother brought him into my pro shop in San Jose when he was 10-12 years old and he told me he wanted to become a pro bowler.

I was and still am speechless at reading this. I never met or knew Tony, but he always seemed like a genuine nice guy on TV. I remember when he bowled his 300 on TV, it seemed everyone came to congratulate him. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to his family. RIP Tony.
