Looking for a little help...
« on: November 24, 2009, 02:06:02 PM »
Is there such a thing as a plain black spare ball anymore? If there is one offered can someone post a link on it or where to get one because i'm trying to locate one for a buddy and haven't come across one.

Thanks

I can't find the link, but one of the big sellers (thought it was Bowlers Paradise) was practically giving away rubber spare balls not too long ago.  Your pro shop won't like drilling them (horrible smell) and some ball returns have a hard time picking them up, but most rubber balls without cores are plain black.  You should find a ton of them on Ebay also.

Depending on the bowler, he could possibly use a Storm Natural.  I can't make a urethane hook much more than my plastic...and with some polish I'm pretty sure it would go pretty straight.

I cannot remember - except for rubber balls (ebay has them cheap, too) - that there had been a simple black solid spare ball out there in the recent past? Brunswick had a black sparkle Target Zone 5 or 6 years ago.

The black XXXL was all black.  Can find some if not new, used.
