Coverstock Treatment
« on: May 05, 2004, 08:08:59 AM »
I have a Reloaded and a Fear Factor. The other night I threw them on freshly oiled lanes, and I had to slow my ball speed down considerably to get them to hook. I would rather throw at a medium ball speed (my normal speed). I went over the Reloaded with a ScotchBrite almost 60 games ago. The Fear Factor has been sanded. It's dull, that is all I know. I have a major problem, well, I consider it major. I throw these two balls all night. The problem is, I don't have a ball for lighter oil conditions, so I have to change my ball speed because my adjustments are way off in terms of moving left any number of boards. I'm at a loss. I'm getting a Barbed Wire worked on right now, so I will have that by the weekend. Can I get opinions on how I should treat the coverstocks of these balls and when to use them????? That would be a lot of help because lately I have been throwing the ball aimlessly, if you know what I mean.
