Sarge Easter Grip
« on: April 18, 2005, 05:19:32 PM »
need some help understanding this grip. i understand that the middle finger is drilled w/ insert, finger-tipped like normal, but when doing the ring finger...do you just drill it to the measurment of a conventional drilling? that's what i've gathered so far, but i want to make sure as i'm drilling a ball tomorrow like this. also...what kind of pitches should i use in the ring finger so i can still get out of it? lmk.

Here's Nick's drilling sheet.  Might want to drop him a line to have him explain why he's got the pitches like he does though.

It is standard conventional span, but start with 1/4 reverse and 5/8th right and go from there. You should feel like the ring finger disappears in the ball, because you're really taking that finger out of play.

Sorry I didn't respond to your message, been a busy little bee all day.
