What's the deal with dirty balls?
« on: February 24, 2004, 12:17:16 AM »
Hmm...Could have phrased the title a little better.  But I do have a serious question.  What is the effect of not cleaning bowling balls for a period of time?  I was thinking, my orbs have gone a while without being cleaned.  The performance of them has suffered.  Perhaps they are not lousy bowling balls, and they just need some love.  But really, how does cleaning them affect performance?   In the past I have just done it as a matter of duty I guess.  But lately I have noticed that all three (two particles and a resin) have been rolling out early.  I wonder if it is the effect of not cleaning.  I'll test it out tonight.  Anyone know how cleaning actually helps?
