As of late, I hsve been in afunk where i can put together 2 good games but tack on a horrible game to ruin the set. It varies on which game it is, typically after the first.
Tonight for example, started with 238 throing S-75, throwing the ball great, hitting my mark or getting very close with it (I am not a professional, haha) and coming off my hand good. Start the next game, tried my Break pearl as I saw transisition setting in quickly at the end of first game. Went strike, spare, strike, open thru nose, then light on a release a little left of target in the oil. So thinking to much went back to S-75 and struck so I thought it was ok. Well those good shots went throught the nose, and left ugly multi count splits, 3 in the next 4 frames. Then s very well thrown ball in 10th which leaves 4-9. So ended the game with 141. I had 2 balls that I got out a little to far to the right, while coming around the side a little to much. But the others where good.
Came back the next game throwing good, switch to Black pearl reactive and end with 228.
So this has been happening lately more often then i would like, not 141 bad, but 160's 170's enough to hurt a nice set. it seems when these games are happening, my margin for error is so slim, and that little miss always turns out with the worst results/ I feel it starts to get in my head, and the brain starts analyzing way to much or something.
Does anyone tend to have this problem? it happens in spurts with me, I do it for a little bit then it goes away and my game is on its consistent phase. Any tips to try to get my game and to any others with thius problem to kick it. It is really getting on my nerves.
