Michigan BR Get-Together

Hey guys and gals.  April 24 is the date, Airport Lanes in Jackson is the place.  I've requested 10 lanes to be saved for us at 1pm that day, and am sending in my request for rooms at the Batmont Inn of Jackson, MI.  Rooms will cost $65 plus tax, bowling will cost $2 per game.

I am also holding a sport tournament in that house on April 25 (the next day) at 1pm, and the cost of that event is $60.  I know pin-chaser from Memphis, Tennessee is coming up, so hopefully a bunch of you other Michiganders can come out and play!

Please post if you would like to come bowl with us!!!

Why, OH WHY did you have to pick the 24th??  My bonehead friend has to be getting married on that day...  I wasn't happy to be going to the wedding anyways and now this is just icing on the cake  

If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all

Darn it!!!  Sorry Darrell.  But don't you know bowling comes first?  Ditch your friend and come bowling with us!!!

Well as close as that is to me here in Lansing, MI, I have a feeling that I'll be stuck at a little hole in the wall by the name of Holiday Lanes.  Gotta make money somehow.
There is an off chance that I might show my face.

Ok Ok, so are you guys mad at me or something?  hahaha.  I know there are a ton of Michigan posters in here, and am a bit sad that only 2 people replied

This is actually the 2nd post for this get-together.  The other one fizzled out too.  This is my last attempt to get this going.  I hope some of you can make it!

ok, why didnt you have the get together DURING THE season,  i mean when bowling is done with me, out come the golf clubs and the softball stuff.

Alas, I too have prior commitments; I'll be bowling in a tournament(team, with optional singles), $6000 guaranteed 1st place. They also pay cash for stringing strikes($5 for five in a row, 6th strike worth $10, 7th worth $20, all the way up to $1275 for a 300 game). I intend to throw lots of strikes. Whether the pins intend to cooperate with me or not is another question entirely.

Well I suppose there's no time like the present, which is why I'm attempting the get-together in April.  I also knew pin-chaser was coming to town, so he and I thought it would be nice to get some people from this site together for that weekend.
