I guess I tried to rush the shot, and get the ball to come down out of the backswing before it was ready, and hyper extended the elbow a bit. I did this last week and ever since, it has begun showing signs of pain while doing some pretty normal things.

What can I do to help it heal in the next 2 weeks?

First time throwing a hook...this is truly a test of conviction.

And after seeing the doctor, if you still MUST bowl, use the other hand!  Good Luck, hope it's not too serious and heals quickly!
