Brian left mid April to take over as brand manager for Powerhouse with Ebonite.  He will be responsible for training proshops and the coaching program.  Rick Wunder knows all the details, he had been working in Brian's proshop.  There is a news release on Ebonites website with further details.

BTW, Bowlers Universe will be moving into the space at Hawthorn in June.

John Lee who was in the st charles bowlers universe will be taking over at hawthorn.  I've heeard that Mike Sopper will be putting a pro shop in at the st charles location.

If he's going from St. Charles to Hawthorn, watch your wallets up there.  Or at least check the price of drilling before letting him do it.  He charged me $80.00 w/grips to drill up a Special Agent.  I'll never go back to him.  He's what gives the brick-n-mortar guys a bad rap.  JMO.

Wouldn't exactly say "the great Brian Chilcutt".  He may refer to himself as that, but I wouldn't.  He is a great driller/coach (from what i've heard), but from my experience and others, I've heard he's a prick.  Not the nicest guy, and thinks he knows everything and everything he says/does it right.

Plus his prices are outrageous.  $240 for a high end ball drilled.  Other places offer it for $180-$200.

i forgot to italicize and put quotes around "the great".  you are right about him being a prick.  he does think that he is above everybody.  the prices were ridiculosly high.  its was "ala carte" stuff that really jacked the prices up.

Yeah, really full of himself. He was infallible, of course, in his own opinion.
