What is name for balls described like second sort or something

Balls with PinIN or extra OUT, or worng PIN placement.
Producer classified them as secon quality balls.
Any danger to buy them

Many will call them blems or seconds.

Often there is not problem with the ball other than color or as you said a long pin. But they can be odd weights, mis-marked, under sized, etc. But I believe they are legal for ABC play.

The only real danger I would know of is often the warranty is not in effect.
