One word to stay to you Jorge and that is SUCKER. That's about sums it up. $5,000 to do paper work that I can do in less than an hour is absoultely positively the biggest rip off I've ever heard of in the this great game.
$5,000 of YOUR PRIZE FUND. THAT'S RIGHT..YOUR MONEY goes to doing paper work.
Everything is computerized, you input the scores into the league program. There is nothing here that is overly difficult at all about doing this. Other than the expenses of buying the program (which the league should do for the secretary if the secretary agrees on doing this for multiple years), the small amount of time to input scores/paper work and the paper and ink costs, what exactly here is worth $5,000 in your opinion??
If you think that is totally acceptable, I got a bridge and some beach front property to sell you.
The problem is idiotic people like you Jorge who think it's perfectly acceptable to rip off the bowlers and make money off of doing paper work. Your the problem my friend. Unfortunately these stupid people get in leagues where they can do this, and everybody just plays the sheep role. Normally these people are all officers of the league, best buddies and if anyone protests to whats going on, they are told to leave. Things just keep going the same way while the officers bowl for free, and skim off of the prize fund for their "services". Most people are afraid of tipping over the apple cart, and just do what you tell them to do.
Somebody should step up and say they will do the work for $2,000 and let's see how huffy and puffy the secretary gets over that one.
The league officers should get to bowl for FREE the entire season, that is their reward for being an officer and doing the paper work. It should be free bowling and the cost of supplies and that is it. They should not profit above and beyond that. Your secretary gets $5,000 and then gets to also profit from the league prize fund. Who the hell wouldn't want to do this, it's high way robbery at it's best.
In this situation the secretary is getting to bowl for free (the $5,000 covers his bowling fees). The remaining money minus expenses makes them without question a profit from their "services" and they also get to profit from prize fund. Win, Win, Win... what a scam.
How much are you ripping off your league for?...Shhh we will not tell anybody
