Which is better, Goliath or Alter Ego?
« on: January 01, 2005, 05:42:18 PM »
I am in the market for a heavy oil ball, and I am trying to decide between a Brunswick Goliath and a Columbia Alter Ego. What do you guys think the better ball would be for heavy oil, the Goliath or the Alter Ego? Thanks!

i belive if you drill the AE stacked it can hook as much as almost any ball on the market.  Hope this helps.

I don't know anything about columbia stuff, but the goliath is supposed to be an oil monster.  High load particle, will roll early and grab in the oil.  It is labeled as brunswick's oil monster ball.

Know nothing of the Goliath but the AE is the highest rated sport condition ball out there if there is head oil.  BTM gave it highest marks for a sport condition ball of any ball they reviewed last year.  I would think it's for longer sport patterns though.
