I had someone ask me once about the serial number on a bowling ball. Now I'm curious. What does having the serial number on a ball have to do with someone's interest in buying it? And/or what can you do with that serial number?

There was a few series of balls (Carmel White Dots, "bleeder" Yellow Dots...) that certain batches were the best. Ball A might be worth $50, but ball B was worth every penny of $150.

I record the serial number of every ball I drill on the drill sheet. I also do not deal in used balls. -- JohnP
