I saw these towels advertised on TV and they look amazing for soaking up liquids.

I was curious... Has anyone has ever tried one on a bowling ball before?

I don't know, but that looks awesome.  I could've used that the other day when I spilled coffee in my car.

I have two thoughts every time I see that commercial:

1. That looks like a "joke" Saturday Night Live-ish farce of a tv spot - he's just SO over the top and...
2. I wonder how that would work on my bowling balls

Who's going to take the plunge for us?

Never even thought about the bowling balls.  Can it get the oil out like it did the cola?  lol

the cola thing is fake, sorry but watch it he porus it on and you can easily see it coming out of the bottom but when he goes to extract the cola that isnt there and also the camera cuts and comes back. probobly jsut as good as the shammy that you can get at wal-mart.

then why have I never heard of it... and I am German... I live in Germany... heck... I even speak and understand the native language

I know there are materials that are super absorbent... but those are powders or granules and you need to heat them to get the "dirt" out again... but you don't want to... you simply throw the stuff away

You know what I mean...

well try it... imho a nice towle is enough...
