I am getting rid of my equipment and starting fresh. Some of you know I am selling my balls. Well, this morning as I was leaving the house, the women noticed I was boxing bowling balls and loading them in my truck. She asked, "what are you doing?"

I told her I have buyers for my bowling balls and that I'm going to meet them tonight......

She blew her top off!!! Even trying to kiss her good bye didn't work lol....THis is what I heard.....

"what the hell is wrong with you?!"
"Why are you selling them? So you can buy more? I bet you're just giving them away!!"
"It's a waste of money!" "Once the next season starts, you're going to tell me, "oh I need new ball, there's a space in my bag."" (sheesh it's a "gap" not "space" - i said in my head)

SO I HAD TO LET HER KNOW!!

 I said, "I love you honey, I have to go. Eli will be late for school and say hi to your mom for me."

Lol I actually tried to quit a few years ago and mine wouldn't let me.  She doesn't understand why I go through balls faster than her and she argues about that, but mine always pay for themselves and then some . . as soon as I told her that HER bowling was what was actually costing something, that's when she relented there haha.  Big difference between participation and competition . .

I told my wife " I don't smoke, drink, or chase other women, I bowl, but I can change that if you want me to".

 She was almost immediately receptive to the idea that I bowl and occasionally buy a new ball or something.

 Seems the alternative activities were less appealing to her than my bowling was.

My wife has been bowling way longer than I have, lucky for me. Whenever she expresses interest in a ball I just buy it for her to keep her happy. She doesnt compalin about me buying stuff but occationally she'll fling me some crap for being such a ball whore. Oh and she keeps a list of every ball we both have had to compare who's had more stuff.

I told my wife the same thing..... I don't chase other women, I don't hang out at the bars, I'm not like my brother and collect junk cars, I just bowl and buy bowling balls.
She thought about it and said your right, never heard another word about it.

I rescheduled with the buyers and decided to take her to the new car store.....

She's been wanting a new car lately, so last night I took her to CarMax to look at some Beemers. We looked around, asked questions, and I told her to think about it.

1/4 mile away was Public Storage where I store my bowling equipment. We stopped by to get more balls and boxes after I took her to CarMax. She offered to help me carry some bags to the truck without poop coming out of her mouth.
