Shooting at Spares: Plastic or NO Plastic

I've always shot at my 10 pins with my plastic ball; however, today I realized that with my ravage I canflatted my wrist out to get a straight ball just the same. Infact; I made more 10 pins with this way than I ever did with my plastic. Anyone else use reactive at right side spares?

LOL......I cant remember the last time I chopped a 4-7! I would guess 3 season's for sure. I could throw a SCB at the corner on a normal (notice I said Normal) house shot and not worry about it hooking. As much as we need to learn to throw plastic at corner pins you need to learn how to flatten your hand and throw your hooker's straight.

No one needs to learn to flatten out, nor does anyone need to learn to throw plastic. You pick one or the other, and pick your spares everytime with whatever method you chose. It is that simple.

I know many tournament bowlers who just throw there strike balls for spares and throw it DEAD straight. Not hard to do, but its so much easier for me to throw plastic nearly straight with the same release.

I shoot all my spares w/ my strike ball. I have the ability (through tons of practice) to throw the most hooking ball on the market dead straight. In one of my leagues, I play 20 at the arrows to the splinter and shoot my 4 and 7 pins straight up the 10 board on the left. Has made my game much more versatile.
