Why can't I just be satisfied?
« on: September 24, 2017, 02:22:44 PM »
Last year, I went back to urethane for the most part, and did well. Matter of fact, I had the best average I've had in quite a while.

I don't know why urethane seems to work well for me, only that, given my style and methodology, it does.

However, once again, I find myself wanting to throw a reactive resin ball.

I've got several decent resin balls, and just bought a new Impulse solid last season, and yet I still find myself going back to urethane to score decently.

So, why can't I just be happy and throw my urethane stuff without feeling like I'm at some sort of disadvantage.

I know I score more consistently with urethane, yet something in the back of my mind keeps gnawing at me to throw resin.

UUUGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH..... :-\

Let's face it. In today's society, we are trained to have too many options. Tv channels, phone providers, social media, news outlets, genders, there are now too many choices. So, as the basic creatures we are, we feel that we need all of those options so you don't go "I really needed that!" I'm in IT, and I have an insane amount of parts, tools, usb drives, isos, virtual machines... Well, you get my idea. My damn bag is bigger than I am. I don't want to need something I have access to.

It's the new human condition.

Well I guess the majority of my arsenal are 2nd (or more) hand balls so at least I am doing some recycling.  :P
