Bowling Lessons with Rick Steelsmith

I have a bowling lesson with ABC Masters and PBA National Championship winner Rick Steelsmith on Sunday. Rick is the head teaching pro for the JOMA bowling group out of Wichita, Kansas, and he schedules lessons throughout the Midwest. I'm always striving to learn more as a bowler and I think this is a great opportunity. I'll report back on Sunday evening and give a full account.

That is freaking awesome. I would love that opportunity. He was one of my favorites to watch.

Bowled league with Rick a few times here in Wichita, he definitely knows his stuff. He's a great teacher.

I had my lesson with Rick Steelsmith today and I was glad I did. He noticed the height of my pushaway was a little too high which led to a backswing that was a little too low which in turn created a less than stable finish at the end. I think this will make a difference in the long run and I can't wait to try the practice drills he set up for me. Well worth the $40 fee.
