I agree with some of the other guys. Dont limit yourself to just 1 company unless your collecting money from that company. I was that way for about 2 years. I wasnt happy.
For example I used to be all brunswick for a year. I had a 2 Total Inferno's and 2 BVP Rampage's with different layouts and cover prep plus a brunswick spare ball. I wasnt happy with 2 of the 4, because they were condition specific. They ended up being great for PBA oiled lanes.
After having that experience I went to all Storm. Picked up a T-Road Pearl, Fire Diablo, and Attitude Shift. That line up worked great until each one had cracking issues. All of a suddon I was without anything to use for bowling cause it looked like 1 ball talked to the other 2 and all 3 cracked around the ball thumb hole to thumb hole in different directions.... interesting bowling night that became.
You say you have never used anything from Storm, why would you want to make a complete equipment change over to a brand that you've never used before?? Not a smart move. You dont know how storm reacts to your style of bowling, it could be awesome or it could be a mis-match nightmare. I suggest you get at least 2 newer storm balls, 1 pearl and 1 solid and see how they do in your hands before you go out and make that kind of investment only to find out it was a disaster mistake.
Experiment before doing is my advice if you are going to do this regaurdless of what anyone says.
