Full Roller Suggestions
« on: October 26, 2009, 11:35:18 PM »
Looking for a couple ideas (layouts) for a  full roller. To be honest, haven't drilled many other than the normal 3 3/8 (8 o'clock pin). Looking for a smooth controlled roll, and a backend reaction layout. The 3 3/8 seems to be fine for the common strong roll.  Thanks for any help.

Look at the Brunswick and Lanemasters websites and find their drill sheets.  Most of their layouts are variations of the pin at 7:30 with varying pin to grip center distances, but Lanemasters does have one with the pin in the track left of the middle finger.  I've read about one more, with the pin 10 3/4" from grip center at 1:30 (into the finger positive area), but can't find a drill sheet showing it and haven't used it myself.  Try posting this in the layouts and drilling forum and you will probably get more responses.  --  JohnP
