Bowler ID questions.

I got the bowler ID done they other week and got the results and haven't had the chance to ask what they meant yet. I am curious about the tilt more than anything. Thanks for any answers.
Rev rate 337.98 rpm
Speed 18.29
Axis point x 1 37/32 (inches)
Axis point y 49/32 (inches)
Tilt (-0.57) degrees yes negative
Rotation 69.88 degrees

Thanks for the responses. I will try to post a video tonight or tomorrow. I don't have a recent one and I bowl league tonight so I should be able to post it tonight.

Thank you for attending one of the EBI Ball Demos and participating in the Bowler ID session. I would like to note, your information you provided is not what I have on file. Your listed information as I have on file is below:

Rev Rate (RPM): 337.98
Average Ball Speed (MPH): 18.29
Axis Point X: 4 9/32"
Axis Point Y: 1 17/32"
Tilt (degrees): -0.57
Rotation (degrees): 69.88

As far as what those numbers mean exactly a little description is below.

Rev Rate (RPM): This represents the amount of Revolutions you apply to the bowling ball per Minute.

Average Ball Speed (MPH): This is an average ball speed from the point the ball leaves your hand to when it comes in contact with the pins. Your launch speed will be higher than this average speed as the balls velocity is slowing down as it gets closer to the pins.

Axis Point X: This is the horizontal distance of your Positive Axis Point (P.A.P.) from your center of grip.

Axis Point Y: This is the vertical distance of your Positive Axis Point (P.A.P.) from your center of grip.

(Your P.A.P. is where the axis in which the bowling ball rotates around off of your hand is located.)

Tilt (degrees): Tilt is the degree in which your P.A.P. is located on the ball in respect to the Y axis of the ball. (check out the video link below for a better visual description). If the ball is spinning like a top, the tilt would be 90 degrees. If the ball is rolling end over end the tilt would be 0 degrees. Tilt can control how easy a ball gets down the lane. Your tilt is -0.57 degrees on average, this means you have very little to no tilt applied off your release. Making for a very rollie ball motion off the breakpoint.

Rotation (degrees): Rotation is the degree in which your P.A.P. is located on the ball in respect to the X axis of the ball. (check out the video link below for a better visual description). If your ball is rotating and the axis is in line with the boards the Rotation is 90 degrees. If you ball is rolling end over end the rotation is 0 degrees.

Thank you very much for the description that makes sense now. I am curious though as to why I had different numbers. The pro shop owner sent me those after he was emailed them.
