The only one that jumps off that list to me is the Jigsaw. Popular where I am, good performer. By comparison, the Jigsaw Corner had a lot of hype but has been pretty much a dud in application so far from what I'm seeing.

Exactly my thinking guys.....

The Full Swing is a great ball and so is the Jigsaw.....cannot imagine what they have coming to replace these 2 fine pieces. The Bedlam is a great piece too.....

The Bedlam is a total shock, it just came out.

Jigsaw looks like I big turd from those few I've seen around here.  Hammer was the hot company around here 2-3 years ago.  Now, Storm rules the roost.

Jigsaw - Maybe the corner is just outdoing it in sales on a national level so they dropped the one that isn't selling as well.

Full Swing - Absolute shock given the performance, but again maybe sales have gotten a bit slow and the Pure Swing is taking off.

I think the biggest shocker for me is the full swing.  I wonder what hammer will replace the Rayzr's with.....i'm still hoping for a weak piece (plastic/urethane with core).....i'll most likely continue hoping.

At the Jigsaw Corner seminar I asked Jeff Usery about the possability of a urethane Hammer in the future. He told me that there was no plans to produce one as they feel that it is a niche ball and there is not enough market share to warrant one

I'm shocked they would discontinue the Full Swing and the Bedlam (I really like both of these balls), the Jigsaw doesn't really surprise me because I really haven't seen one that matches up real well in my bowling center which has 2 yr old BW Anvilane Pros.  It may need a little more friction than my bowling center has.  I guess Columbia feels like most of us have moved on to the Pure Swing / Total Bedlam combo, which is also pretty good.   I know that Columbia hasn't really sold very well in my area, most bowlers here use Storm / Roto or Hammer.

Hasn't Ebonite Maxim been around like for 30 years or so? I used to have one from the mid 80's.

And whoa Columbia discontinuing balls? There's a real shocker.

I think the Maxims are just being limited to the other colors, or they're coming out with some new ones.  Same with the WDs.  The same might be happening with the Power Grooves but maybe they have a new entry level ball coming.

2 more I forgot to add to the original list are the Emerald and Cherry Vibes!!!!

Ebonite also added a few more: One Pearl, Playmaker, Lanebreaker, Evolve

All I have to say is Ebonite must have something seriously special in the works because it appears they have discontinued about 1/2 of their line!!!!

For the past ten years Ebonite has always discontinued a ton before spring and release another 6-8 in a span of about a month mid-spring.  Who has never noticed this?
