I'm looking for a ball to go in between my Inferno and Sonic X. I have a Trauma, but it's a little too close to my Inferno when the lanes are medium-dry. I think either one of these two balls may work great, and it seems like somewhat of a coin flip to me, but was wondering if anyone had any thoughts that may help me, perhaps one, or possibly even both may have the same problem with being too close to the Inferno, as I'm sure I will see a noticable difference from the Sonic X. I can go from the Inferno to the Sonic X if I had to, but just looking to see if I could close that gap a little bit. Thanks for the help everyone.

I have a Silver Streak Pearl and I absolutely love it! I think it might fill that gap really well. I have mine drilled 4 X 4 which gives it good length and explosive backend power. It really continues hard through the pins, with little or no deflection.

The Savage Flip is a lot more ball than the Pearl X. A friend of mine rolls one, it gets about 45 feet down and you're like hook da*m it! After that, you're like ok, ok quit hooking already! Much more ball than the X.

I have both the SonicX Pearl, and the SS Pearl. I would highly suggest the SS Pearl as a ball for what you are looking for, and advise contancting Roger (Mustang Guy for drilling suggestions. Give him how your Inferno and SonicX are drilled, and he will appropriately set up the SS Pearl.
Roger is by far one of the easiest of the ball company reps to work with. You can message him on here, put a post under Roto, or even call him

Thanks for the info. I was kind of leaning a little toward the SS Pearl also, because I'm a little afraid the backend the Savage Flip has might be a little too much for what I'm looking for. I've also considered other choices (there's a topic in the Lane 1 section about the Emerald Buzzsaw), but I'm very happy with the Sonic X, and would like to try another Roto Grip. Thanks again everyone. And I will take your advise and get some suggestions on the drilling.
