New HOT Sauce, $69
« on: January 24, 2009, 01:48:35 AM »
BP is selling the New Hot Sauce for $69 on their web site.
To get this great price, I believe you have to buy one of their Elite Balls.

Confused!!!!

On the Elite site,  some have replied calling the Elite balls a P.O.S.

What is a P.O.S.????

Does that mean it is a special ball?  Special Pins or MB's placements?

Just wondering if this is a good deal.

OH MY GOODNESS,  really.

So let me see if I understand this offer.

You buy one of these Elite balls>>>> called by some a P.O.S.  and then you get
the other ball at a reduced price.

So What do you do with the Elite ball???  Just toss it in the garbage.
If so, are you really saving any money buying this deal????

Sounds to me like ..... NO

You could try and re-sell the Elite ball to someone. They used to have a deal where you bought one of their Elite balls and you get a free high performance ball to go with it. That's lame that they charge you for the other ball now.

Well if you have to pay $189 for the Elite, and then $69 for the Hot sauce,
that comes to $258.  So why pay so much and end up with a ball that some on the Elite site call a P.O.S. ?

Does that make sense?

Why not just buy the Hot sauce and be done with it.

Exactly. I never liked BP, they have high pricing on a lot of their stuff. At least they used to, haven't been on there in probably a year. Why don't they just lower the prices on the Elite stuff?

This is Bowler's Paradise's attempt at showing their product as being superior to the rest. They are challenging consumers to try their product in comparison to the most popular new releases.

The problem is that this further devalues all other retailer's product and makes it harder for brick and mortar pro shops to sell these high end balls for any profits besides making money on the drilling.

In my opinion, all the bowling ball manufacturers should pull the plug on supplying balls to BP and any distributor that is supplying balls to BP as well.
