I joined another league and i was bowling on possibly the driest lanes i had ever been on. i had to make adjustments in the middle of the first game and ended up with a 199 but had one of my lowest games in a long time in a league, 125. i ended at lleast on a good note with a 180. what can i do to adjust to the lane conditions? my balls are black widow, nighthawk menace, and a nvs

Moving deeper is not always the solution. You might find head oil, if the has been prepped that way, but the ball needs to make ever longer journeys across the lane and you have to have very good control about the breakpoint. IMHO, this is an option, sure, but only if you have both speed and hand, and potentially a clean mid lane/back end area.

True, you have to play what the lane yields to you - but personally, I find that a straighter line simply has less pitfalls to offer than the deep path - I smell lots of washouts.

Depending on style, you could move left and loft it. However my preference even with having more revs is to go to the weakest ball possible, flatten out my wrist and go straighter.

Another option is to go with plastic and that can be the best way to go depending on how dry the lanes are. Keep in mind there are some plastic balls that actually have a decent weight block in them now. The Team Storm (white with the optical block) and the Hammer Taboo Spare (actually has the widow core) come to mind.

Some will also go with urethane or pearl urethane balls. I personally don't care for them as reactions have been too much over/under for me in the past. Therefore, I usually go with the weakest reactive possible and adjust from there.
