skid snap bowling ball question

Hi. I was wondering what ball you guys would recommend. I am looking for a ball that is pure skid flip where it doesn't read the mid lanes early. I tend to have problems when the lanes are torched with my ball getting in a roll to early. Thanks.  Off the top of my head I don't know all of my stats. I throw the ball around 18mph with decent hand.

You could do something like a Tribal Fire, a Cyclone, Freeze, or even the new Brunswick Exile.  Those 4 balls really stand out as far as "true" skid flip.  The Legend is not a true skid flip ball.  To get a true skid flip; you want a ball that has a high RG to help get the ball down the lane and a medium to high differential.  The Cyclone, Freeze, and Exile all fill that description.  The Tribal Fire has the high RG but the diff is not quite as high but should still see some decent amount of angle downlane from what I have seen from the ball so far.  A ball that is around 2.50 and lower on the RG is not going to be a true skid flip ball especially if you are looking for something to help push once the heads start to dry up.

Agreed with twohands, when the lanes are drier you want a weaker ball, but give them skid flip drilling and surface (1500 + polish). If you want something with a little bit more oil before being drier id look into the hyroad pearl

The options are literally endless from very strong to weak. Surface being the key factor, bowlers style, and conditions.

For me the hyroad pearl has fit this place, but as said, it is pretty strong.

I want a Melee Jab as I have been happy with Brunswick past couple years.

The Yeti Uncaged is also one I am thinking about.

Drier conditions, Roto Scream.

You need a med/high rg pearl drilled pin up with polish.
For me that ball is a Diva Pearl pin 2" over my ring finger

Wow. First time posting to this site. I appreciate all of the responses. I like all of the answers too. I was looking into the cyclone and the tribal fire. The black widow doesn't really interest me too much. I was thinking of a ball with a high rg but lower differential as well. I am going to replug my hyraod pearl and throw the pin above the bridge (maybe a little left) and probably shine the heck out it.

If you are looking for a great ball with those parameters; look at a Deep Freeze.  The RG is pretty high and the diff is around .03 (low flaring ball).  I am averaging 258 for the last month (795, 767, 796, and 746) since I drilled that bad boy up.  Even with the pin up at box finish; I can stay closer to the friction and straighten my angles up.  I even posted a short video in the Columbia forum of a couple shots with it.  I am in around 3rd arrow.  But this was after open play before me and then me throwing 3 games after that.  Very clean through the front and yet very controllable on the backend.  My favorite ball by far right now.  Plus it doesnt break the bank (entry level).

Thanks. My pro shop owes me a low end ball so I might have to look into it.
