Forearm Tightness
« on: August 08, 2013, 03:10:04 PM »
Ok I'm looking for some advice or tips here? I suffered a weird bowling injury awhile ago. Lanes were very dry and was throwing the ball hard and pulled something in my forearm that caused my ring finger and middle finger to pull down towards the palm and had to be pulled open. I've had it checked out and doctors have no idea. Everything looks fine and they think it was just a strain that caused a tendon to tighten.

I've had some soreness and stiffness in the arm since and have tried different things. I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else weirdly enough or if anyone knows good creams or something to rub on the arm to loosen it and reduce tightness. Hopefully someone can help.

Find a better doctor.  It may be nothing serious but the doctor should have a clue what caused it.

Flexall should be at any drug store.  With the Ben-Gay and such.

1 more thing - If you look around in CVS or Walgreen you can find a forearm support that can help...  I only use mines when balling about 8 games ....

Sounds likes you must be putting the death squeeze on the ball. I would suggest you get your grip checked and work on reducing grip pressure in your swing. Just my 2 cent`s.
