Moving to AL

I just received my orders to Mobile, AL and looking for any insight on best leagues around that area for next year and also what tournaments are around that area?  Thank you all

Two Houses in Mobile both AMF. Skyline Lanes and Camellia Lanes. Best fall League at Camellia is the Thursday Night men's league starts at 6:30, 5 men teams handicapped 20+ teams big strike pots. Skyline Lanes Monday Night King pins starts at 6:30 5 man teams handicapped 2nd games doubles pot can make a good week if you win. 3 Man scratch Classic on Wednesday nights night starts at 7:00. Tournaments Double Diamond, Emerald Coast, and Louisiana has some killer tournaments that go year round. Look me up when you get in town.

Thank you s1nger1.  I will most likely look into the Thursday mens league and have just recently been talked into a league in Pensacola on tuesday nights that pays real good.  sounds good with all those tournaments.

I know s1nger1 is still down there and can provide better details, but when I was there Skyline was run by bowlers (lots of tournaments, better leagues, equipment maintained better...) and Camellia was run by an AMF bean counter.  Not a bad house, but didn't seem to cater to serious bowlers as much.  There also used to be a small house across the Bay, but don't remember much about it.

S1nger1 - is Russ still bowling or own the pro shop at Camellia?

Russ is drilling from his house. Not sure if he is bowling this year.
