I elected not to go as well as my team. We finished as a wild card in the tcba south division. I just didnt feel like going out of town to bowl, I am ready for a break. Good luck if you go. A bowler from our travel league won the tcba high average this year but dont know if he will be there or not. His name was John Harper averaged 224 but of course he is left handed. He is one of the few left handers I know who can bowl and adjust to the shot.

I wish I was.  The TCBA final tournament is one of my favorites. One of the most intense tournaments I've ever been in.  Watched Terry Hadley go 300, 300, 279, 300 and his team lose!  Non stop bowling almost all weekend.

I will be there along with jkiser01 and EddieMyers from the site.  They are both on my team.  We bowled in the Forth Worth South division.  I wanted to go just because I have never bowled in the finals before and I heard it was something you have to witness first hand.

Also my wife and I are going to make a little vacation out of it.

saturday. My team is from Denton. I just recently moved
to San Antonio, my wife got promoted to GM of Brunswick
Thousand Oaks here. Hopefully we will get a chance to
meet. Good luck.

Corey  Did you guys make it?    If so fantastic!!!!  It is something.  The team I was on in 88 won the tournament.  We had 8 guys and rotated all day.  We started at 8 am or so and finished close to 6 if I remember.  It was non stop.  We bowled in this place in Corpui that was nick named the home of 300 and it was at the time.  There were more 300's that weekend than you could count.

Tracy,
We bowl the wildcard squad at 7:30AM on Friday at Astro Bowl.

Robert,
Yes, we made it as the wildcard team in our division.  We had a chance to win first going into the last week, but we didn't do so great, but we still got the $100 wildcard spot, so our entry into the tourney was free.  Everyone told us not to count on making it out of the wildcard round, but we still had to go experience the tourney.

If nothing else, I get to bowl a few games for free in the big tourney atmosphere, and then my wife and I can have a nice little vacation.

BrocketteTr,

I bowl with MarvinSkelton and we are bowling at 7am Friday am as well. Its the first time I have bowled in a traveling league and it was alot of fun and we did turn the team around from last year.

Your from Denton HUH?? I live in Frisco right now but me and my wife are getting a new house built in Aubry out off 380 heading towards Denton. Its a small world!! My wife is going with me and we are going to make it a mini vacation down in SA. Staying Thursday-Sunday down on the Riverwalk.

I hope to see you at Astro bowl on Friday!!

What is the name of your team? I am actually off Friday
so, I'll try to make a point of stopping by. If for some
reason I don't, good luck. This is the second year in a
row that I have got to go and it is a great experience.

Same here, it was nice to meet ya'll. I am glad you did
as well as you did, but I was really hoping ya'll would
make it. Still the team did great and I believe congrats
are in order. If I heard correctly you shot a 300 in
your 1st game, which I believe was also your 1st
sanctioned one. WAY TO GO. Have a safe trip home and
keep in touch.
