After watching replay of the Pros on TV I noticed that when the ball went off of the deck in line with the nine pin. the ten pin usually stood. My question. Why don't the ball reps suggest. more surface. more side weight or more top weight.
You would think with all of the speed. revs and power of the Pros , they would never leave so many ten pins. But slo-mo shows the obvious deflection.
I am a slow roller because of my age, and I found I must throw 16 pounds with high gloss in order to carry the ten. A ball with surface hooks early and rolls out. A lighter ball deflects. My best ball so far, has been an old 16 pound AMF cobra highly polished.
