Slow day at the Pro Shop
« on: September 05, 2004, 02:40:44 AM »
Just posted this in the Morich section,

thought the coversation was interesting enough to post here for more general review.

Just talked to a pro shop owner on a VERY slow day!

I said how do you like Ravage?

He said it is incredible! Pulled his out immediately.

Says it "Revs so hard at break point it makes everyone look good that touches it!"

"Just drilled one for a low rev lefty, made him look like a strapper with so much energy at breakpoint, and thru pins, Mo Pinel is a genius!"

We proceeded to talk about all sorts of things and he mentioned, "Don't forget AMF is coming out with a new coverstock soon which may completely change bowling and oiling patterns!" "Particles are gone as seen by balls like the Bully and Ultimate Inferno which smooth the overunder but do it better" and this new AMF stuff is uncanny"

My question, "Would you still have a Ravage in your arsenal?", his reply,
"Oh yeah".
