Although I have to admit, an 18lb ball does sound intriguing....  LOL

It's Storm's famous invisible "Dark Matter" ball - the core is so dense that the light cannot yield a picture of it, and this also explains the 18lbs. weight. ;) A predecessor used depleted uranium, but since the tester's hands fell off after two games, the technology didn't promise much market success.

Collector's item - man, how could it have escaped R&D? And, yes, Mackerel scent is correct! Somehow you HAVE to find it on the rack...

Well......it would perhaps slow down my ball speed considering that it's 18 pounds.

18 lbs. and only $10 for shipping!  I guess the lighter the ball the MORE it costs to ship?  His first transaction may be his last...

I suspect 18 lbs is the shipping weight, but there is a certain paucity of information that would lead one not to bid on such an entity no matter what it looked like.

At $10 shipping costs, I suspect it might be via bicycle messenger.

Every bowling alley on the planet would kill you if you used it in the machines...

No machines are tested to handle that weight.

Waste of money for who ever buys it.

plus, not sanctioned either, Every ball drilled must be less than or directly at 16lbs by rule.

although it would be funny to take it to the pro shop to get drilled.  "Let's see here, this...might need a weight hole."  But hey I'm pretty sure you could use the weight hole, or crater, as a cup holder between frames!

obvious it is someone who did not take the time to weigh the ball nor is familar with how to list this type on ebay

Im guessing someone might get a good deal on a nib 16# storm ball of some sorts for 30 bucks
