Recently had a ball drilled up and mistakenly the finger inserts are both a size too big.To make a long story short I ended up bowling a few games with it like this.
The fingers in the ball felt OK,but I found every shot I played my hand was "coming over the top"resulting in some very weak hits.
Has this happened to anyone else,or is this likely to be a span,thumb pitch or bevel problem.
Any thoughts will be very welcome.

Hi HB,

Yes, having inserts too large may be causing you to squeeze the ball, which then in turn can possibly make you rotate your hand faster in your swing then it should be turning. If you weren't topping the ball before this and the grips were fitted properly, I'd definitely recommend that you change these to the correct size, it should help.
