Question about selling balls
« on: April 23, 2007, 07:24:22 AM »
Hey all,

I'm planning on unloading some stuff over the summer and have a question for those who buy/sell used balls on a regular basis.  I have the capability of plugging my stuff before selling, but is this a big deal with buyers?  I guess what I'm asking is, is it worth my time to plug these balls before putting them up, or should I just sell them as is?  Thanks for your input.

Terry L.

When posting your bowling balls, you can tell the potential buyers that you can plug the ball for them, if they like, for maybe a $5 fee. It always nice to have options.

Hogsharley has a good answer, but I'd prefer to buy unplugged balls.  I've had used balls chip around or crack through the plug since not everyone is equally careful.  If it cracks and my shop plugged it, at least I'll know they'll fix it for free.
