With your speed and rev rate, a solid asym may not be the best idea, especially for medium oil. You would want something high rg, medium diff, symmetrical, and a smoother layout. Look into a Storm Manic, Motiv Thrash, Global 900 Wisdom (eventhough pearl), something along those lines that will roll but not be to aggresive. In your hands, a solid asym will tend to want to hook early and often.

Track 503t is probably the best answer...its assymetrical, not highend..so hopefully itll get down the lane with your speed!  Thats would i get!

Most asymmetric cores have coverstocks that are too strong for your rev rate/ball speed combo. However there are plenty of symmetric cored, weaker coverstock balls that would serve your purpose. You may have to take the stock cover to 3000 or 4000 grit dull or even 2000 grit + a light polish, but they could work very well for you.

Some examples:
Motiv Ascent Solid or Thrash, Roto-Grip Shout, 900Global Hook solid, Columbia Freeze Solid, Brunswick Karma solid, Seismic Blackout, AMF Cobra SE, DV8 Misfit, Track 300T.

Bill,

Look at his ball speed. He could probably use the 503T on heavy oil.

Why does it have to be asymmetrical?

to say the 503 is asymetric is stretching it at best. with a .03 int diff. it will most def not act like an asymetric ball

But then, once drilled, every ball is asymmetric.
Let's not go down that road, in this thread.

Lol! Yeah lets not! Whatever solid he picks will most likely need polish...so pick any one ya like! I throw 15-16 mph and im having success with a pin down, oob, vivid....surprisingly enough.

I picked up a 900G Hook Hybrid for my "light condition" ball last year.  I was surprised by the easy length, even on conditions where other equipment was hooking early.  Not assymetrical and not a solid (not completely anyways), but may fit the bill with regards to reaction/performance.
